WBRH&B News Notes                                               September 1998

We are pleased to announce that effective September 1, 1998, we have expanded the services which we are able to provide to our clients and to the community at large by establishing our presence on the Internet. It is now possible for our clients and others having access to the World Wide Web to visit our Web Site and to obtain information about our firm, to learn on a timely basis important developments in the law and to send us information through the use of electronic mail. Accessing the Internet and our Web Site is easy and inexpensive. It simply requires a computer with a modem and an account with one of the many Internet providers, such as America On-line (AOL), which provide their customers direct access to a wide variety of data bases and services.

Contacting Winne, Banta, Rizzi, Hetherington & Basralian on the Internet is as simple as directing your "Web Browser" to our address, "http://www.winnebantalaw.com". Once you are there, you can use your computer mouse to review any of several areas of highlighted text, which include background information about the firm, our practice areas and our attorneys, newsletters published by our practice groups, information about upcoming seminars and executive briefings, news notes on important legal developments, and other important information. As a small example, we are enclosing hard copy of just one page from our Web Site.

It is also possible to access our firm on the information superhighway by sending e-mail messages directly to us. Our general e-mail address is info@winnebanta.com. E-mail addresses for individual attorneys can be found in their "Attorney Profile". While we encourage you to communicate with us by e-mail, it is important to remember that the Internet is not a totally secure environment and that while it is unlikely that someone would be able to break into our e-mail mailbox, caution should nonetheless be used in transmitting confidential information to us by e-mail.

We will strive to maintain our Web Site as an informative and timely source of information and access to you in meeting your legal needs and we look forward to communicating with you on the Internet. Sincerely yours,

Joseph L. Basralian Managing Partner
