Doreen Winn (Real Estate, Lending)

Doreen Winn is an associate in the Real Estate practice group. Ms. Winn has been practicing law for twenty years and has been with Winne Banta for fifteen years. She is a transplant from Virginia, having graduated from the College of William and Mary in Virginia before obtaining her Juris Doctorate from New York Law School in Manhattan, her practice includes commercial transactions from both borrower and lender perspectives.

Before joining Winne Banta, Ms. Winn worked as an associate with a practice that specialized in land-use law and prior to that with a Trust and Estates firm in Manhattan.

Ms. Winn volunteers her time representing the Paterson Habitat for Humanity in real estate matters. She assists in the draft of legal documents and has run seminars for new Habitat homebuyers to explain the process and the implications of purchasing a home, including how to set up and work with a condominium association.

Additionally, Ms. Winn volunteered in her local school system teaching elementary Spanish and French. While maintaining a limited working knowledge of French and German, Ms. Winn has concentrated her time on increasing her Spanish proficiency.

Doreen Winn currently lives in Bergen County with her husband and three teenage children.
