Christopher H. Minks (Real Estate, Corporate/Business, Land Use, Intellectual Property)

Christopher H. Minks is a partner in the Real Estate, Corporate and Business, and Intellectual Property practice groups of the Firm. He concentrates his practice in the areas of real property acquisition, development, financing, leasing, syndication and sale; focusing on commercial, industrial and retail properties, development projects, and generally, commercial contracts of every nature. His current and longstanding clients range from landlords, tenants, lending institutions, developers and property owners and investors, and specifically have included Baosteel (America and China) Inc., The Vitamin Shoppe, Russo Development, First Real Estate Investment Trust, the Hekemian Companies, UBS, and Home Depot.

In addition, Mr. Minks is a member of the firm's active real estate development and land use practice group, and regularly appears before municipal planning and zoning board, mayor and counsel hearings and proceedings throughout central and northern New Jersey.

Mr. Minks chairs the firm's growing intellectual property and media practice group, having represented clients in transactions with Ford and Elite Modeling companies, Universal Music Group, Motown and a number of private producers, publishers and distributors. Mr. Minks also regularly serves as Round Table leader and speaker with the International Counsel of Shopping Centers (ICSC) a national commercial real estate industry group, at their annual conventions held nationwide.

Overall, Mr. Minks strives to provide his clients with the benefit of his broad legal experience and strong business sense, earned through the representation of some of the nation's largest and more sophisticated corporations, retailers and developers, while providing the truly hands-on, personal service and highly competitive fee structure of a familiar, personable lawyer and counselor.
